Karri has taken time out of her schedule to travel with the USO (United Service Organization) to visit troops doing hard and dangerous work a very long way from home.  She may have gone to lift their spirits, but like so many other celebrities who go on USO tours, they always get much more from the men and women in uniform. She has visited troops in South Korea (Operation Starlift in  June of 2001 ) and went to Afghanistan this past December with fellow "Suddenly Susan"er, Kathy Griffin. Even outside the wonderful USO, Karri has visited other sites crucial to the defense of our freedom.  Recently she visited the Long Beach, CA plant of aerospace giant Boeing.
